(no subject)
i'm calling today about renting the cool house! i can't wait! i'm so excited. however, i'm nervous. i don't need to move in until june, so i don't know if they'll hold it for me with just a deposit. i'm new to this....
i'll also call to ask about apartment rates if i can't hold the house. i've got some cool places in mind. i'm so excited!
oh, i didn't mention that i will 'most likely' be getting the awesomest job ever! i'm not really allowed to say i've gotten it; they can't offer me the position for a while yet, but i'm SO EXCITED! i'll even get health insurance. woohoo! and i like my bosses! and...yeah!
now if i can just get this lab finished and all my lab reports done and my field studies worked out and my finals over, i can start the fun. :D
fun things happening:
-i'm going to memphis in may saturday after graduation.
-i'm going to the memphis zoo over easter break.
-going to see pawpaw sometime this week....
-staying with my cool cousins for part of a month while i start my job and get everything in order to move into a big-kid house or apartment.
-getting a place and FURNISHING/DECORATING it. you have no idea how much it excites me! if you have any hindu statues you don't want, send them my way! (i want most of my decorations to be kind of eastern-y). i can't wait to go antique-ing and flea marketing :D
-going on a trip to madison sometime this summer...
-taking a night class in the fall (art?)
too much stuff! it's awesome...but i really need to do these 8 lab reports before april 26th...i'm just so excited,though, i can't be stressed. just gotta keep on truckin'
also, kenny, thanks for the advice. you are so right. i have nothing to be defensive about in the first place, so i shouldn't let it get to me. it's just that people who have pretended to be my friends are spreading lies about me...guess they're not my friends! i intend to confront a few; usually when you confront people with stuff like this, it freaks them out and they deny that they've even said ANYTHING. meh. i'm so glad i'm graduating...i won't have to put up with childish drama, and i can do cool things with my good buddies! life is GREAT!
