I'm not dead, I swear!
Wow! It's been sooo long since i've posted last. I've just been so busy with school starting again, having to get back into that groove that I had before. Although I think that I will have less time this semester for fun stuff even though I gave myself more to do over the break. ::knocks on head and hears a hollow sound:: I don't know why I do this stuff to myself, I guess i'm a masochist at heart or something. Sadly, my classes aren't as interesting as last semester, which I am not looking forward to. I'm taking math and government, two of my most hated subjects. My math teacher is from Barbados, which is cool except for the whole 'I can't understand her' thing. Damn it all! Why must I always get the professors that are difficult to understand?! I do have history as a consolation, even though I dislike modern history, I still have that to fall back on. And, the best part of the whole semester...::drumroll::...no Mataro (my idiot english teacher)!! Woot!! I tell you, there was great celebration on the floor for this special occasion. Ok, I would like to tell you all that I HATE the airline industry! (no offense to anyone who is working for them as a pilot or stewardess and what not) They are so horribly over priced and find any way they can to drag as much out of your purse as possible without having to give anything in return. I had a heavy bag when I was going back to college because I was bringing back a lot of books back with me and they actually charged me for my bag. I was so pissed! Seriously, I am already paying them a shitload of money anyway and now I have to pay more for them to take my bag. Oh no no no. I had to pay $80 to take my bag (it happened to work out as $1/pound) They began to charge you this summer. Here's how it breaks down: 51-70 = $50 & 71-100 = $80. Now tell me that isn't stupid. Oh well, I am now in Texas where I will be happily staying for two months until spring break where upon I will yet again brave the hordes of people and the vicious airlines. Oh, and they have advertising on the tray tables now too. I pulled mine down and there was a showgirl staring me in the face. Has anyone seen the new Entertainment Weekly? Holy crap, I almost screeched in the book store today when I saw the cover. Johnny!! Yes!! I love him and his unbelievable hotness. Speaking of which, did anyone see him at the Golden Globes? He looked absolutely delectable! And, what a good citizen too, helping the old man get out of his chair. Hehe. I was laughing when I saw how he was trying to help Martin Scorsese (I have no idea how to spell his name) out of his chair. He kept trying to move the chair, but then the guy would move the same way. It was quite amusing... well, to me it was anyway. I was so disappointed about the rest of it though. I can't believe that Phantom didn't win anything! I was watching it with Shelly, Kelly, and my mom, and we all were very incensed about the whole thing. I was continually muttering under my breath, about what, I'm not sure to tell you the truth. All I know is, that I don't care how much wine there is in that Sideways movie, Phantom could beat the shit out of it with it's hands tied behind it's back...that is if it was a person...um...k, sorry about that. I get a bit upset whenever I think about it. Anyway, I should go. Work calls and all that. Cheers!
