Addictions, colors and a little matter of my boy Denny...
So lately, when I've been having a bad day (which is EVERYDAY) I've either opened up my phone or went to my photobucket and looked at Denny..I really havent understood why, but I guess its cuz I know when I'm having a bad day, theres always a picture of him, that makes me smile. And my phone is so awesome, like everythings black, and orange and then my icons are the colors of the rainbows.. it's so... dark and Dennyish.
So I know most of you read my last entry, my frustrations with JGR and just everything. I ended up posting it everywhere. Myspace, here, FoxSports, Infield Parking, Nascar, ESPN, and sent it to a few writers. Not that I've heard back from any of them, but yeah. My comments on the blog though have ranged. From alot agreeing with the points I made to someone thinking I'm a nutjob and that I need a life. I'm just glad I expressed my feelings. It was actually kinda crazy I was watching Nascar Now today, and Marty Smith ( one of whom I sent it to) was talking to Joe (Gibbs) and he asked, what Joe thought about the fans.... and for a minute my heart stopped. I was like OMG! But i was more dealing with the whole 'cheating' scandal than anything, but something makes me think maybe, just maybe, someone at Gibbs may have read it. I even had the nerve to send it to David Poole at the Charlotte Observer, so maybe he sent it to someone.
I'm honestly not looking forward to this weekend. Bristol is a great track and all, and I love short track racing, but after watching the Truck race tonight, I know the Nationwide race is going to be 2x worse and the Cup race is gonna be like 11x as worse. Plus I've been wondering if Hurricane Fay is going to have any part of this weekend.
But meh, I can pray, cross my fingers, and paint my toenails FedEx Freight Magenta Pink.... Woo! Bought it tonight at Wally World along with a 2nd copy of Dennys' Nascar Illustrated! lol. Yes, I know I am random. I have all 4 FedEx sponsor colors (light green, light blue, magenta and orange), plus about 7 purples, black, and white... I actually got Orange (which i havent got to use yet) from my best friend Nicole when she sent me a care package a few weeks ago with some Denny cards. It's so awesome. But yeah, so toe nail painting, and NO car colors on. I have some very weird susperstious things I do week in and week out with Denny.. Like during qualifying and the race, say Denny is driving the office/kinko car (light blue) i wont wear anything blue... light, dark, nothing blue. I paint my nails on Sundays, according to the sponsor of the week. I pray before the race, and I never have my icon on Yahoo on raceday as Denny... I know I'm crazy, but atleast I admit it! LOL. Another thing is, I never ever put my status on myspace or post bulletins saying go Denny on Friday or Sunday. I think I have an addiction and a problem people, can someone point me in the direction for some D.H.A.? lol. I think I need help.

I need to work on my writing.. it is terribly slacking right now. Thankfully one of my stories is a co-write and the last update plus the next 2 are my friends updates because they are drivers I simply wont write, I have to work on some Chad and Alan though, so I'm half-heartedly excited. I mean come on now, naked driver/cc's calendar... Only I could be crazy to come up with an idea like that and actually write it. Though it is SOOOOO funny that the guy in the banner with his ass exsposed looks so uncanny like Clint Bowyer, who.. well is in it, and is in about the same scene as the pic, and I found the pic after the idea was made... makes me think some drivers have some 2nd jobs... My Denny stories are lacking though. But they're both very intense and emotional ones, so I think thats why I'm having such a hard time. Though, I keep coming up with ideas, but I have to set them aside.
I'm excited for Friday though. I have like 3 interviews, and I pray to god I get one. One's with Aflac, and it's a customer service/marketing type of job.. I wonder if they're gonna have a problem with me not being a Carl fan? Honestly, cant stand the Beaver.. he just.. ughs' me. LOL. Another is being a cashier for Chipolte, which is awesome cuz I LOVE their food, and the other is for some other place that I have to call in the morning. I was hoping I'd get one of these 'driver' jobs I've been applying for, because I think it'd be awesome to get paid to drive around all day and deliver shit.. I wish Napa would call me back! Of FedEx Kinkos! Man, I mean come on, me, working in a FedEx? Wouldnt that ROCK!?!
But I'm not going to turn down any job right now because I need the money. I need a car again and I need to start saving for PIR weekend... I wanna have about $500-$800 saved by the second week of November, and I mean its doable because honestly, my only bill is a $65 dollar a month phone bill. Plus, its my birthday and all, then theres Xmas. And then towards May and my 2 weeks in Charlotte. Does anyone feel that $3,000 grand is too much or too little for out there? Pitcrew Challenge/Open/All-Star and the 600 tickets. Plus, doing some shopping at the raceshops. The Rudder, Whisky River, Memorial Day on the lake? I dont need a hotel so I'm thankful about that though. And my plane tickets only like $250, meh, I'll just throw everything into savings and see how much I can save. I still have like 8 months to think about this...
Oh! Good news, I'm going to be a mechanic/PR for my cousins Pure Stock team! He'll be buying his first car in 2 weeks (69 Ford Mustang), and I get to beat and bang on it and help out, which I'm so excited for. Then in November, I'll start looking for sponsors for him, he already has one lined up, (its a strip club) but hey, its a sponsor. Winter series starts in Jan and our season kicks off in March. I'll be dirt trackin it every weekend, between Manzinita and Canyon and probably Casa Grande which is just... I'm speechless. I got him hooked on this racing bug and I'm so excited he's gonna drive. He's been doing heat races for a friend and was running 3 seconds faster than the everyone...Gah.. I cant wait. Honestly one of my dreams is to work on a team, and starting out small like this will help.
And men, I simply give up on them. All they want is SEX and thats not happening. And I seem to be attracted to guys that have too many problems (like drugs) and I dont understand why. It sucks. Though if I can find a sweet mititary boy or a racer boy.. I'd be happy.
Oh and here's a statistic for ya'll to find interesting. 60% of my graduating class of 2007, now either have children, are pregnant and engaged if not married. Some of us are not even 20 yet! It's crazy. I'm like WTH! And like to have one of my best friends already married and she had her son a week and a half ago, it secretly makes me wanna settle down already. I just dont.. understand it.
Well, I'm gonna go finish my Coca Cola =) and try and finish this chapter I've had almost done for a month now and get it out. Then catch up on reading, and hit the hay. Another day of watching my little cousins all day.... oh what FUN!
I'll be so damn glad when I move back into my grandmas. Just gotta get a computer... but if i get one of these jobs, I can have one with a few weeks. Man, yeah....
Gotta keep praying I get a job, and pray I get over being sick. Been sick 3 weeks now, and I thought I had almost got rid of it, but I gave it to the cousins and they gave it back to me... damn bugs.
