People from the Internet are awesome
Yesterday I and the fandom folks met with a fandomer on a trip around the world (who had apparently met 
rachelmanija before, proving if needed be that it is a very small internet) and that was just super lovely. It ednded up being just me and them at the end and I thought I'd take them to Berthillon for some ice cream -- because ICE CREAM -- but while I got us to Berthillon without getting lost, they had literally just closed up when we got there so we didn't have ice cream. We went to Shakespeare and Company and they had
swan_tower 's book there (the internet. it is tiny).

Also, today I got my Jukebox fic! IT IS SO AMAZING, OMG.

Things about the internet that are slightly less awesome: My internet is currently extra awful and craps out at irregular intervals and sometimes it can take me up to an hour to get the connection back. So yeah, sometimes I give up. (And when it does work I have to prioritise what I'm doing with it and that tends to be the exchanges I'm currently running.) That's why I haven't been around so much lately (well, that and I was sick most of last week). I'll try to be more present, but I can make no promises. Sorry.
And I just noticed that last Reading Wednesday didn't post, even though I battled wth my internet for ages to get it to post. :(
