Yes, I'm alive...
I figured I should let people know that I'm alive and kicking, despite hell freezing over. *lol* Okay, so it wasn't hell, but here in South Texas, it's very rare for everything to freeze and ice over. In fact, it's been over a century since we've seen this kind of weather. It's been a week since we've seen anything over freezing and have had some nights that were even sub-zero. Which was a first since I've been living here. During the power loss it got down to almost freezing inside.
Fortunately, I managed to keep reasonably comfortable by staying hunkered down under several blankets. Today, for the first time in over a week, the temperature got above freezing. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, and tomorrow night it's supposed to stay above freezing. Although, tonight it's already down in the 20's, so I'm back under my blankets. :)
