Herein lies profanity...
Yesterday I came across this article about an invasive species of hornet known as Asian giant hornets, also called murder hornets. After reading the article I realize they're called murder hornets because of the way kill honey bees; however, as someone who is quite allegic to bee stings and other insect venoms (including hornets) the thing that kept running through my mind was "fucking MURDER hornets?!" After everything that's been going on so far this year, now we have fucking MURDER hornets?! I'm already allergic to regular hornets, now there are MURDER hornets! This is 2020--everything wants to kill us now.
And these things are huge! About 2 inches long! If a damn 2-inch long hornet comes at me, I'm going die of a heart attack anyway, because it would scare the shit out of me. Goddamn MURDER hornets! Anything with "murder" in the name is not going to be fun.
And don't get me started on the buzzing those things must make. I really hate hearing something like that buzzing and not seeing it. It makes me paranoid as hell. That's when I get a really great cardio workout. Trying to look in every direction at once, while trying to put as much distance as possible between me and the buzzing, which I can't really figure out until I spot the fucker.
I've always been phobic about flying stinging things. Then I got stung by one when I was 22, and found very quickly I was allergic. Fortunately, I was with someone who acted quickly and got me emergency medical help. Even so, by the time I got medical help I was having some trouble breathing. And that was just a tiny little bee. A really little one. Imagine a fucking MURDER hornet coming after my ass!
I don't like 2020 so far. Can I get a refund? Please?
