Help needed...
This is not an easy post to write. I come to you, my friends, to ask for help. As most of you know, I'm on a fixed income due to being on disability. In addition to my SSD, I have been receiving an additional amount from long term disability insurance that I paid into at my prior employment. A couple of months ago, that LTD insurance was discontinued without notice. I am fighting the discontinuation, but it will take time. In the mean time, I have found myself behind the eight ball.
Not knowing that this money was going to not going to be in my bank account, I didn't prepare for the shortfall and was unable to pay my electric bill in both January and February. I've paid what little I could, and have asked for, and recieved, all the extentions possible. However, on March 14th my electricity will be cut off unless I can come up with $350.
