Hurricane News
This is just a quick post to let folks know that I'm alive and well despite Mother Nature's fury. The cat4 hurricane made landfall only 30 miles north of me so it was quite windy. *lol* I'm sure the news has shown plenty of pictures. I've been without power since Friday and there's no estimate yet when the power company will start repairs in my area. Fortunately I have plenty of shelf stable food and tons bottled water since all tap water must be boiled.
I'm keeping busy by reading and have light (& batteries). Not exactly how I planned on celebrating my birthday this year, but hey, as I said, I am alive and well! :D
That's it for now. I've got to save my phone battery.
