started this chapter on the edge of my seat, but finished nice and relaxed. phew! even though poor nicole had to go through almost dying twice(!) before dana woke up, at least she's awake now. and glad maggie invited her for the picnic. i assume everyone knows she's dana's work partner, but had to giggle at the misunderstandings that could have happened.

as always, looking forward to the next chapter.

Yeah, I did leave the last chapter with a bit of a cliffhanger. *grin*

Sometimes it takes something drastic to wake someone up. ;)

I think it would have been out of character for Maggie not to invite Nicole. After all, she's been having dinner with the two young women on a regular basis. And we already know she has special place in her heart for Nicole. And, yes, since they've been partners for about 14 months at this point, Dana's family does know Nicole is her work partner. ;)

That was unnerving but fascinating! It served to wake Dana up to her feelings. The picnic is a nice touch.Maybe her brothers will give her some tips on getting her woman.lol.

Yes, it did. We all know how stubborn Dana can be, but I don't think she can ignore her feelings any longer.

It worked out well that the fourth of July was only a week after Nicole was hurt.

Yeah, it would have. I didn't want to drag that part out too long.

This was excellent. Nice to wake to, since I looked for it at 2 a.m. and no sign of it. :)

I'm sure things will work out for next year's ride.

I honestly look forward to each instalment and don't mind so much that I'm screaming to find out when Nicole's wings are discovered and well, uh, more, because it's written so believably.
I realize there are a few things that need to be resolved yet. One of which is getting these two women together. *smirk* And, yes, Dana will find out about (see) Nicole's wings, and more, before we're done.
