Despite the unusual nature of Nicole, I have yet to find myself having to suspend disbelief to just take it in stride.
I've tried to go too over the top... although this is an X-Files fic. There are definitely some incredible things on the horizon. *vbg*

wow, loved the insight into both logan and scully. and the little gems along the way: scully comfortable enough to take a bath, logan sharing the very expensive wine, the cute cat and of course scully having stirrings of jealousy.

They've been working together for about five months at this point, so they have been able to 'settle in' a bit as partners. Yes, Scully is having little stirrings of jealousy, although I don't think she's recognized them what they really are... yet. ;-)

Every so often I just get the urge to change the layout. This one just seemed to catch my fancy this time around.

Thank you. Dana will figure it out. After all, she's not stupid. However, she does still have a lot on her plate just getting through the days - she's dying from the cancer and health is getting worse as time passes.

I loved the inter-personal relations that there are between Scully and Nicole in this chapter. The understanding they are both getting for each other is quite intimate. I love it.
Yes. They are getting to know each other and becoming good friends rather than just partners.

I also love the jealous streak Scully seams to have every time someone Scully doesn't know pops up in from Nicole's world. It's cute to see her all 'who was that', then get utterly surprised by realization she's a bit jealous.
Actually, I don't think Scully recognizes it as jealousy... yet. But in her defense, she is still quite sick and dying of cancer.

BTW, I like the new layout and icon.
Thanks. I've had the icon for a while and wanted to use it... it kind of reminds a little of Logan - even though she has short blonde hair. I guess it kind of represents what Logan is. This layout seemed to go the best with it.
