That is a good question. Under normal circumstances, I think she'd pick up on anything strange rather quickly. However, she's not exactly thinking clearly at this point. It's only been a month since Mulder killed himself, her health is failing, and she's very much a skeptic. ;-)

I think it is very important to leave writers comments and lately there seems to be less comments being left.

*sigh* I know. As an author, sometimes it's so disheartening to put a piece of work out there and get so little feedback. I do understand there are a lot of people who don't like to read stories until they are complete - I'm the same way for the most part. But when my stats/guests show me how many people at least look at something I write and I still get so little feedback, well it kind of leads me to think I'm not doing very well... so maybe it's just not worth continuing. *shrugs* I don't know.

So, yes, I definitely appreciate it when people leave comments.

one of the advantages of not being able to get online for a while, is loads of new chapters when i get back! this is great and i like how logan told val off. and how scully is a bit jealous. now of course i can't wait for the next chapter.

Heh, it's kind of like Christmas morning with all the presents! *lol* Of course, I go thru withdrawal if I don't get my regular internet fix. :D

this is great and i like how logan told val off. and how scully is a bit jealous.
I think Logan still has a few words for Val. ;-) Scully is definitely a little of her center right now.

Val is interesting- maybe Dana can learn more about Logan through her?
Dana may not realize it yet but she is definitely attracted to Logan,and she isn't going to like it if Logan is in jeopardy in the bayou!

Heh, I do believe you're correct, but Dana isn't even thinking along those lines - she's got so much other stuff to deal with. Mulder's suicide and her cancer have taken a lot out of her and really thrown her off balance.

I don't usually read x-files stories but was looking for something new to read and kind of stumbled onto this story. After the first part I was hooked and I can't wait for the next update.

Wow! I love your Weak in the Knees series and am always watching out for new stuff set in that one. But I am always willing to give a favorite author a spin on something new! This is excellent! Thanks so much for sharing your talent with the rest of us!

I enjoy writing in the Weak in the Knees universe, and I believe Dana and Jess will be around for some time yet. I'm still hoping to be able to write a proper sequel at some point.

But I am always willing to give a favorite author a spin on something new! This is excellent!
I appreciate it. I love writing Scully and exploring different aspects of her. I've already got ideas for other fics with other characters. But, in the meantime, I need to finish Dana's Malakim so that we can find out what happens with Dana and Nicole. ;-)
