Whatever you feel about these things and whatever you feel about me please read on in the name of justice.
There is a petition started by Professor Richard Gill on behalf of my close friend Lucia de Berk.
Some of you know that she has been in prison for a number of years. You probably won't know that we were expecting a committee to make an announcement months ago. They've been considering the trial for a year. We have been waiting and waiting and now the members of the review committee have decided to go on their holidays. More waiting.
The petition I am asking you to sign doesn't ask you to declare her guilt or innocence. It's the process that the petitioner has called into question.
If you need more information check out what Guardian 'Bad Science' columnist Ben Goldacre has to say here
http://www.guardian.co.uk/life/badscience/story/0,,2051900,00.html. If you need more than that I'll have a page directing you to other places here
http://www.webwandering.com/lucia.htm by tomorrow morning.
Please please sign this petition

Just a few minutes of your time could mean so much.
Thank you,
