I mean apparently that is a correct use of the word soluble on some planet (not one I've lived on...) but Harsha (my Indian labmate, who speaks British) and I exchanged a glance and both burst out laughing. Trying to dissolve the halting problem into a glass of water. Maybe if I used a magnetic stirrer.....
