too cold, for cold showers
It was a freezing cold miserable day outside today, and I took 3 buses and a train to get home, and you do know what I had waiting for me at home?
COLD WATER
thats right, my hot water is gone! It was on the fritz not long ago, but a guy came and fixed it. One plumber said that the gas hot water system would need replacing, but they would have to clear with the owners, but did they replace it...noooo. Another plumer came and "fixed it". so we had good hot water for a week, and now, none at all.
I shall call the realters tomorrow and ask politely (demand) they get a good plumber to fix and/or replace the system tomorrow. But I may have to resort to borrowing peoples showers for a couple of days.

EDIT: In the light of day, I decided to have another go at gaining back hot water. I worked out how to take the cover of the gas box thinging, and then I pressed buttons until I made fire.....and it worked!!!
I have never been so happy to make fire before! and now for a hot shower.
