I was at the crowded Legion sitting with friends at our table when a lady asked if she could take away one of our chairs. I said yes but first you must answer this riddle. Everybody laughed and I thought that was the end of that but she insisted what is the riddle? I had no riddle so I hesitated a bit and noticed everyone else at the table was waiting to hear the riddle too. Finally I asked; what never changes? She thought a short while then snapped back, 'now', its always now, like she won the prise. Its always 'Here' too, I added. Then I asked her , "who knows its always here now?" She said 'US'. I added, "who knows US?" She couldn't think of 'I'. I, the changeless, peaceful awareness of all.

The sage Astavakra said to the king Janaka: "know the Self as pure consciousness the unaffected witness of the phenomenal world and you will be free."
