In a not-so-random hallway

[kanda_da]

Kanda is sitting on the floor just outside hammer_echo's suite wearing his prototype uniform with an Allen coat over one arm. He has an empty Mugen-sheath on his back and a plain katana on his hip. It's very hard to tell at first glance whether he's crabby, calm, or distracted.

[Nods his head.] I'm looking for him as well. When you find him could you let me know? It is nothing important.

Yes. [Goes back to staring quietly at a wall]

[kanda_da]

No, but there's jack-shit I can do about it. [shrugs]

What happened?

[kanda_da]

I was kicked out.

[piugrave]

[Blinks a time or two before bowing at the waist.] My apologies. [Knocks on the door again. When he receives no answer, he tests the lock and opens the door, motioning for Kanda to come inside.]

[kanda_da]

[Chopin invites him in? Good enough. Kanda follows.]

[Shuts the door behind them and offers to take Kanda's coats.] I won't pry into your private life. But please make yourself at home and take your mind of things. I am sure Lavi won't mind.

My mind doesn't get "off things." [Kanda does not seem to notice the offer of taking the coats.]

There's nothing to talk about. I just need a place to stay now, and Lavi will probably let me stay here.
