In a not-so-random hallway

Kanda is sitting on the floor just outside hammer_echo's suite wearing his prototype uniform with an Allen coat over one arm. He has an empty Mugen-sheath on his back and a plain katana on his hip. It's very hard to tell at first glance whether he's crabby, calm, or distracted.

[Reever is walking down the hallway, pausing every once in a while to lean on his cane to catch his breath. When he sees the teenager Kanda, he smiles.]

H'llo, Kanda. How are you?

[ooc: I gotta run to my class... so, uh, placeholder? xD;]

[looks up suspiciously] Why are you hobbling around like an old man?

[Reever huffs and switches to japanese.] I am not.

*notices the wooden katana, then empty Mugen-sheath, and he's making assumptions-- one that involves his wound and younger Kanda* Kanda, where's your Mugen?

[Kanda easily switches to Japanese himself, not even thinking about the fact that he's never heard a Reever use it.]

{It's in the Lab. Noah Daisya broke it for me. Do you have heart problems, or lung problems?}

[It's a normal steel katana, though. And I'm never bothered with big gaps in replies, we all have to RL sometimes! XD ]

[Kanda sighs, pushes himself up from the floor, then tries to start dragging Reever down the hall toward the clinic]

K--*cough*--anda! S-stop! Bri--*coughcoughcough*--inging me *coughcough* back *cough* there would mean be--*cough*--d rest for another week! J-jus--*coughcoughcough*--t let me lie down!

If you can't fight your way free, then you'll just have to come with me. [Kanda is not holding that hard, a healthy Reever could probably get loose.]
