I want to know what crazy fucked-up training method requires you to start going erratic with your form and gradually lose aim.

[smirk] Venting anger? One of my favorite pastimes. It usually helps when you can do some damage to the target instead of only to yourself.

*A pause, then she whips out her own sword and speeds forwards and slashes towards him*

[Kanda blocks hard and slashes back, trying to gauge her skill. Assuming he is confident that he won't get slashed to death, he'll block rather than duck and stand his ground rather than back up or advance.]

*She effortlessly blocks his slash back, then comes back at him with some well-placed slashes of her own, not aiming to hurt yet but more to see how he moves*

[Kanda has spent his life doing very little except training with a sword. He never went to school, never learned much in the way of hand-to-hand fighting... spent the last two years teaching swordplay back home and trains daily with General Kanda. He is rather well-prepared to spar against another Kanda.]

[Kanda tries to goad her into attacking him hard, and will react defensively and not exploit the inevitable holes in her defense.]

*On the contrary, she's trained extensively for a few years back home with only the best, well trained agents. So when he gets her to attack him harder, she does, putting her strength and agility into her hits and slashes*

[Kanda blocks them harder than before, sacrificing finesse in favor of giving her something really substantial to hit.]

*She enjoys that and starts getting more serious and into this, seeing if she can really get in any hits at all*

[He'll try blocking so hard that he might knock her off balance, probably won't work but worth a shot. And makes COOL clashing sounds.]
