As is his habit, Kanda stays awake until he's truly fatigued. As is his habit, he heads to hammer_echo's room to his spot on the floor when this happens. As is also his habit, he has a long distance to travel to get there, and searches for something interesting along the way to try staying awake just a little longer

You take a ball, and you throw it in the air to a friend. Th friend catches it and throws it back. You can also roll the ball on the floor if you like that better. [Kanda rubs his bleary eyes with the hand not holding Allen's]

You'd probably be very good at it, especially if you activated your Innocence.

Hn? What, you don't have a red hand? [Kanda blinks a few times and looks confused. He's heading toward a training area with balls in it]

Allen red hand. ...No likes it. [he even wears gloves whenever he isn't with big Allen]

Ah, Allen-chan... [Kanda crouches down to look him in the eyes]

If he's not here, then he can't hurt you. You should practice and become strong like your brothers. They had red hands when they were little, too.
