*a familiar dark-haired figure is lying on the grass in the summer courtyard - not dead or injured, just asleep. Leelee hasn't been sleeping well at all lately, not that she'd tell many people that for fear of worrying them - so that kind of caught up to her as she was sketching, and she's dozed off with her head on her open sketchbook, pencil

[The summer courtyard caught her by surprise, so she came out to explore when she nearly steps on the sleeping Lenalee.] Oh, my goodness. [She's about to move quietly away so as not to wake her when she notices the sketch. It's very pretty, she thinks, and kneels down to examine the page closer.]

[xsilent_stepsx]

*her eyelids flutter slightly, and she murmurs something that sounds a bit like "Allen" in a rather distressed tone*

[She tilts her head, worried when she hears her.] Miss? [She hesitates for a moment, then gently shakes her.] Miss, are you all right?

[xsilent_stepsx]

*wakes very suddenly at the touch, flailing blindly for a minute before calming when she sees the other Lenalee* Oh... oh, I'm so sorry. I was dreaming. *nightmare is more like it*

[Her smile is gentle, but still concerned.] It's all right. I'm the one who should be sorry for waking you. But I couldn't help feeling I should wake you. You sounded a little... distressed.

[xsilent_stepsx]

I, ah... well, it wasn't a very nice dream. I'm kind of glad you woke me. *looks a bit embarrassed*

[She sits down comfortably next to her.] You can tell me about it if you like.

[xsilent_stepsx]

*and something about the fact that this is another her, combined with how shaky she still is from the nightmare, makes her actually want to tell - not everything, but enough* There's... someone I'm very scared of. And there's someone I love very much. And I've been having nightmares every night, every time I try to sleep alone, that somehow the person I love is going to get hurt by the person I'm scared of. *deep, shaky breath*

How terrible. I'm sorry that you are experiencing such dreams.

Do you always sleep alone?

*nods, drawing her legs up and wrapping her arms around them* Once or twice, Allen and I have accidentally fallen asleep together, and I always sleep well then - but I don't really want to ask him to make a habit of it. *blushing bright red*

[Notices the blush and smiles in understanding. She's seen it enough times in the other village girls back home.] I see.

You don't like being alone, though, do you?

[xsilent_stepsx]

*shakes her head wordlessly - she doesn't like it at all*

Well, looks like we have something in common. I don't really like being alone, either. So, if you like, you can stay with me. And we can keep each other company.

[xsilent_stepsx]

*blinks in surprise* Really? That... would be okay?

Sure! It would be like we're sisters. And I was an only child so I think this would be great.

[xsilent_stepsx]

*smiles brightly* You know, I always wanted a sister!
