*after his very unpleasant accident, he's been left to rest in the clinic for a little while, Innocence no longer active and crisis passed for the moment. He's awakened from a long, deep sleep to stare up at... well, nothing in particular; it's not like he can actually see right now, even more so since his eyes are hidden under bandages wrapped around his head to stem the last of the bleeding.*
