[It's probably the first time in a long time this Kanda's actually been seen in the DR. Coping with a loss of his own, in his own way. But today he decided he'd go out, wander the empty halls a bit until he found himself in a library.
He no longer wore the Order's uniform (yet Mugen still rested on his hip with aid of his uniform belt), though he was still dressed very nicely (thanks to a certain Cross), simple dress shirt and slacks. Around his neck on a silver chain rested two matching rings. His hair was up, but not in its usual fashion, resting at the nape of his neck instead.
Kanda wandered the library a bit, stopping when he found himself at a shelf of romance novels.

There's a weak tug at his lips before he grabs one (short, tame) before heading to the closest couch to sit on and read it.]
