[Nope, sorry. Miranda's still sleeping. She had no one to celebrate with and no gifts to give... And she was sure Santa didn't come to the dressing room so she decided to sleep in.]

[Well, Lavi will knock on her door three times during the course of the morning/afternoon to see if she's home. If not, he'll leave her present waiting for her by the door]

[That is indeed whats missing. All of Colin's dog items; his toys, bowls and even his food is sitting in his tiny dog bed under her table. The dog wasn't here when she came back... And there has been no sign of him since.]

G-Good morning... You look good today, Lavi.

[Blinks quietly, taking another sweep of the room]

[Pauses awkwardly for a moment]

Miranda, where's Colin?

[She tilts her head for a moment, then looks back into her room.]

Oh!... The dog!... I... I don't know. He wasn't here when I came back... I-Infact... I actually forgot I had one... Link reminded me when I ran into him... I don't even remember what he looks like.

But... but... you loved Colin.

[How could she not remember him?]

[She scratches the back of her head and moves to sit on her bed... There was a lot of drama going on back home...]

I forgot everything about him... But sometimes back home I'd have dreams where a small shadow followed me everywhere and was always with me... In my dreams it didn't have a shape, I don't know if it was a dog.

[Lavi pauses a bit, not sure if this was the best Christmas conversation. He had come with the intent to make Miranda happy, not guilty over not remembering her dog...]

[Slips in and drops his bag of gifts by the door. He leaves the doggie treat where it is in the depths of his bag and goes hunting around for Miranda's gift instead]

You're not spending all of today in your room, are you?

I was... I have no gifts for anyone and I'm sure everyone is busy.

I wanted to at least make some Christmas cookies, but the nurses didn't want me using my arms for something like that and I had no one to help me...

Lavi... I hope you have nothing inside of that bag for me... Because I have nothing to give you in return.

Of course I have something for you, yeah. You gave me such a wonderful birthday present, and I haven't got to repay that kindness at all.
