Post-holder [Stupid family dinners]

[There's a Lavi in one of the common rooms and really when is that anything new? Perhaps somewhat new is the tree he's decorating.

It's a large Colorado blue evergreen covered in blue and silver ornaments with a silver star up at the top. At its center a blue bulb shines though the rest of the tree is done in clear lights. Lavi picks up a bluebird

A Christmas tree?

[Alma is watching from a safe distance. He doesn't want to interfere if Rene's got all the help he needs.]

Just felt like we needed one, yeah?

[Motioning him to come over anyway.]

Themed ones were always pretty to me.

I think it looks nice.

[He walks over, looking up at the tree. ... and then he blinks at the Tease.]

Tyki gave you that one, didn't he?

Thanks. [A soft smile. He tries hard with themed trees.]

Yeah... It replaced my white one. He said it was just for me.

[teasingstar]

[Wrapping his arms around Lavi from behind~ Careful not to disturb him, though.] Decorating already?

[Jumps a little because he wasn't concentrating on the bond and leans back into him with a smile.]

Mm...would have done gold and green but this is prettier.

[Chuckles, nosing at his temple.] It is prettier. How long have you been at it?

[Lets Tease take the bluebird and hang it, putting his arms over Tyki's.]

A few hours. Had to find the tree first. [Smells like an evergreen too.]

[Looks over his shoulder with a smile.]

Have to. Lenalee isn't here to make us get on the ball.

Considering if she was here she'd probably tug on our ears and hit our heads with that clipboard of hers until Link swung by to stop her... Yeah, it's been beat into my head by now. Get the tree up and decorated. [A laugh.]

[A familiar purple Tease flits over to Lavi, looking to help in the decorating. Aluthia tries to go for one of the ornaments still waiting to be hung, failing at its attempt to be helpful by dropping the glass ball on the floor. It panicked and flew back to its master as he entered the room, wordlessly heading over to the broken glass to clean it up.]

Hello, Rene. You've outdone yourself with the decorating... It looks very nice.

[Rene reaches out to help it but he's a bit too late as his own Tease sets off with the bluebird to hang it up. Have to start off small Aluthia, build those muscles.

He had gone to get the dustpan and broom when Cross comes in so the redhead stands awkwardly at the other side of the tree. Frowning just a little bit.]

Habit. What is it? [That you want? He's still upset at you.]

[He thought it wasn't heavy! Now it's taken to hiding in Cross' hair like a frightened child.

Cross glances up at his son, the pieces of glass sit in his hand, a small frown forming on his lips as he notes the younger man's expression.]

I saw you decorating... Wanted to stop in to see how you were.

[Rene wouldn't scold it anyway. >: He had to clean up after his own Tease dropped the first big ball.

He hates the walls you have built up, Cross. They make him feel unwanted. So he's going to do the same, have walls and not let them down for you. See how you like it.]

I'm fine. Just trying to get in the spirit. [Holding out a silver and blue candy cane ornament out to his Tease.]

[Someone is going to pipe up behind Lavi right about... now.]

[Starts but then grins very widely, turning around to wrap her in a hug. He hasn't seen you in ages.]

Lenalee! [Pulls back a little to look at her with a light blush.] Ah, thanks...

It's been a while, hasn't it. [Long enough that she had to use the Tease as a reminder, although even it looks different than she remembers. So she'll be giving him a bit of a squeeze before letting him withdraw.] How long have you been at this?

[Tyki took the white one away and replaced it with a silver one, it's special - for Lavi alone. He smiles at her.]

A few hours, had to find a suitable tree that my Lenalee would approve of first. What about you? Do you like it? [Turning his head back to look at it.]
