[Watch out! Soccer ball coming through!

It hits the nearby wall, bounces off and hits the table across the hall, shattering the lamp on top of it then rolls off onto the floor.

I SEE HE KNOWS OF STAR TREK... serenelogic December 1 2011, 04:44:05 UTC
[Well. It's got pointed ears and has the most serene look on his face. /Spock!Kanda. Say hi.]

You appear to be lost. Have you just arrived?

OF COURSE. HE'S WATCHED ALL OF THEM. Even...if I haven't... /derps lazysmartass December 2 2011, 01:12:39 UTC
[Just...staring more for the serene look than anything else. And how...calm he is. Give him a few more moments and he'll notice the ears. You in uniform, Mr. Spock?]

...I think I might have gotten hit on the head. Yu, why're you talking like that? Arrived where?

[Always in uniform.]

I always speak in this manner. And judging by your questions, you really are new. Welcome to the Dressing Room.

....................I didn't realize you were into Star Trek, Yu. Much less cosplay...

Star Trek? Ah, I see. I can assure you I am not "pretending" to be what I am. Someone has asked me that before.

[He crosses his arms.]

A very curious predicament. I suppose you will require some kind of proof, just like the Lieutenant that I know.

"Someone" who?

[Head. Tilt.]

Lieutenant? Did I somehow end up in a military dorm?

Not at all, unless you signed up for one in your world. I am referring to a member of the crew on the U.S.S. Enterprise -- Lieutenant Commander Lavi.

[It's so formal. It's breaking my brain.]

Definitely sure that I didn't, even when I was dru-- [Stare.

Lavi has no words again.]

I-I'm not any Lieutenant Commander but my name is Lavi...

I am aware. You're not the Lavi from my world, after all, as I am not the "Yuu" that you know from yours. And if you please, I'd prefer you use "Kanda", as Yuu becomes confusing when speaking in English.

But calling you by your last name makes it seem like we're not friends...

We haven't known each other long enough to say we're friends, but if you are referencing your own Kanda, then consider that it's just a name. Both "Yuu" and "Kanda" are parts of his name, they are not separate. If he requests that you use one part and not the other, then it's more respectful to him to honor that request.

Only the first name is what we use at home. He doesn't call me Bookman after all.

A name is a name. If it truly bothers you, perhaps you should invent a nickname for him. As for myself, one or the other does not bother me. But there have been several occasions where the Lieutenant was calling me and I did not know.

[Too many "Yuu" name puns.]

He hit me when I called him Kandy-cane.

Anyway, nicknames aside you still haven't told me where the hell I am.

That sounds to be more of an insult than a nickname.

[He blinks.]

I did so. This is the Dressing Room.

To be honest that one was more for teasing him than to really call him that.

Dressing Room... Never heard of it before.
