[It's fairly early into the night - around 8pm, let's say, thanks to the lengthening night - and the hall that you've found yourself in actually looks a bit on the dusty side

[He didn't get the wine anywhere near here, honestly, but it is the Dressing Room. There's probably a bar nearby anyway.

He doesn't follow Eloi at first though, instead turning his gaze back toward the spilled wine. The door he'd been standing in front of. His gaze darts up to the rafters, almost as if expecting to see a golden eye, like a lit cigarette in the darkness. Or perhaps to hear the rustle of cloth. But he sees nothing, and hears nothing, and Allen's gaze falls back on the door again.

How many nights (and days) had he spent in those rafters, looking after his sire after he'd become human without Aiden ever aware of it? How many hours did he spend in that room, curled under covers and blankets and thinking nothing but the new and fascinating sounds in the world?

...just how often has he come back here, hoping to find that someone - anyone - had opened that door, only for it to be the same, unused hallway as ever, save for him?

It doesn't matter, though. Not anymore. This is the last time he plans on walking down this hall.

So he turns, and he follows Eloi - and he doesn't look back.]

[Alright then, he'll search for a nearby bar! And when he finds it he'll get those glasses. Not even realizing that Allen is saying good-bye to his sire, though he understands his humanity. At least part of it, because to Lavi, Allen is still very human even if he doesn't think he is. He chooses to interact with people on a nightly basis and doesn't isolate himself in ways that the legends have vampires doing. And he's been very caring and protective, at least over the redhead. Which is nice...considering how his own life has gone.

When Allen finally trails in Lavi has the glasses poured and is putting the wine in an ice bucket, smiling up at him.] Got worried for a moment. Here. [Sliding a glass toward him with his fingers still on the base of it.]

[Allen blinks when he finally wanders into the bar, and goes to take a seat, picking up the glass that Lavi slides towards him and sniffing it. Ahh. It was kind of weird. But he lifts the glass to his mouth, and takes a small sip of it.]

Thanks.

[It was just lovely wine, that's all. Lavi is already drinking his own glass.]

No problem, you offered the wine after all.

[Tipping his glass to the side with his finger a bit.]

...You aren't still sleeping in the bathtub, are you?

[Lavi blinks and then laughs a little, shaking his head.]

No, I'm sleeping in my bed. Kanda sticks mostly to his west wing.

[Slight huff.] About time... He was taking your bed for way too long.

He only slept in my bed that one night... And that was only because I made him, he was injured.

If you say so.

I've...been alone in my room physically for a month.

...Has it been that long?

[Ah... It really has been awhile then, huh..]

Longer, I think...

[Draining his wine glass.]

Ah... Sorry about that... [He'd lost track of a lot of time, huh..?

He swirls the contents of his glass around a few times, before draining his own glass as well. Might as well, right?]

[Lavi gives him a grin, pouring them both new glasses.]

It's fine, yeah? Everyone has their own lives, I just have to find mine right now.

[Pulling his back to himself once it's full, swirling the contents again and humming.

...He was getting tired of being a vampire. Having all these impulses he really couldn't control, not just being able to keep himself healthy by eating normal food, needing to feed on people. He needed to find better ways of doing things-- but this already knocked another person off of the list of potential feedees. ...for lack of a better term. And feeding on Chase once a month could really only do him so much good.]

Seems like it... so what have you been doing for the past month? [Though the pointed glance he spares the Innocence means, "other than that".]

[Lavi will be back on it soon. He's going home for an update in December and come back without crystal Innocence. Early December at that. He'd be surprised that Allen would ask him though. x:]

Fencing more. Trying to go into cafeterias... I can do it when it's not crowded now.
