But regardless of which, if you happen to meander down this hallway at this particular moment in time, you'll find that she's finally turned up again. ...Lenalee? [He walks over to her, expression curious. It'll take a minute for him to recognize that this is a Lenalee that he knows.]

[Just as it's going to take her a minute to realize that the voice she's hearing doesn't belong to the Allen that walked away. She all but freezes, feeling a cold sensation sink in her stomach, and jerks her head towards him like a bird.]

Allen-? [And her eyes are moving, from his clothes to his face, where they lock on his. One gray, one gold.

[Before she can stop herself, her lips curl into a half-hearted smile. This place chooses the worst times to yank her about.] ...I'm back, right?

[salutmelodie]

You are. [Gives her a small smile.] Should this be the time when I say, "Welcome back?" [Says it in an almost joking manner, mostly because he's not sure if Lenalee was happy to be back in the Dressing Room.]

[fallforthesky]

Hah... [Well, it might not be 'home', but it's still filled with pieces of her world. Hands suddenly itching to do something, Lenalee tucks a flyaway strand of hair back behind her ear and nods. Sure. Time stops, after all.] I think you can.

[His smile widens a little.] Welcome back.

Your hair is shorter now...

[fallforthesky]

[So does hers, though it's short lived.]

Oh. [Glances down at the ends of her hair spilling over her shoulders.] I suppose it is. Even though it's finally long enough to pin up- it was longer here, though, wasn't it?

[That's disheartening. 8C]

It was. It doesn't look bad with it short, though.

I guess I'll just have to wait for it to get that long again. [...Again.]

[salutxmelodie]

[Just gives a small nod, then looks at her in a mixture of curiosity and concern.]

…Did something happen back in your world, Lenalee?

[fallforthesky]

[With a weak laugh:] A lot of something. I've been home for three months.

[salutmelodie]

[Grows quiet for a moment and then:]

Well, I suppose that sort of explains as to why you were blushing so hard earlier. [Yeah, sorry Lena, but Allen saw your face red before walking over to talk.]

[fallforthesky]

[...Making a comment like that, he gets to see it again!! She stands a little straighter, feeling a familiar warm, prickling sensation begin in her ears. Not sure how three months of being home would explain to him why she'd been blushing- currently, however, Lenalee is more concerned with the fact that Allen noticed her blushing at all.] No, that was- nothing important. It just... Kanda... ehm.

[Dodging Allen's gaze, yessir. Her shoes are really interesting right now.] He was rebuking me for being protective.

[Yeah...]

Really now? [Sounds terribly amused now. Sorry. But only because she's blushing again.]

[Trying very hard to sound nonchalant:] Ah, yes...

[DON'T YOU BE AMUSED AT HER, MISTER.]

I didn't think Kanda rebuking you would cause you to blush so much.
