[Its been a few weeks since this Lavi was out and about, scared like a deer and easily startled into flight. Being alone helped him get control back though he still stands warily at the entrance of a cafeteria, watching everyone inside

[Allen here was just rounding a corner to head... somewhere. Nowhere, actually. He's been wandering a lot as of late... it gives Lavi less to worry about it he does. But he hadn't been expecting to run into someone he knew.

Ah... it's been awhile since he saw this guy. It was the right Lavi, wasn't it? ...He thinks so, anyway. He sounded the same. Allen hums in a not-all-there (lovely, lovely pills) way and steps over, peering into the cafeteria.]

...still don't want to go in?

[Wandering around, Allen? That's still not good, but suppose it's fine if you stay in the east and west... (Bad pills) Glancing at Allen, recognizing him and the fact that something is...off about him.

Shaking his head.] Too many people. [Allen might or might not be able to hear his hands throbbing in a dull pain, Innocence burns.]

[He can smell it more than he can hear it, really. He knows that particular kind of burn smell.]

[Tucking those tell tale hands behind him now, the gloves might go up a little bit past his wrists but they don't hide the bandages going a bit further than that.]

You won't like it. [Because it involves a Kanda. The one you fought.]

I don't have to like it. [His brow twitches a little, but... yeah, the drugs have everything muted to a certain degree. Sorry about that - he would've taken a lower dose if he knew he'd be running into anyone.]

[It's fine, not like Lavi knows about Allen being on pills.]

Kanda was chained up, there were Crow talismans on the shackles. I...tore them off and then used my hammer to break the shackles. My gloves slipped and my hands got burned.

[Not yet, at least. He's not as inclined to hide the pill popping around people he doesn't think would necessarily care.

...Lavi was right, though. He doesn't like it.]

Just why do you care about that Kanda so much?

[Frowning softly.]

I don't. He just checks up on me a lot. I was repaying him.

[Frowning himself. As far as he knows, that's a lie. It sounds quite a lot like this guy cares about that Kanda, whether he knows it or not.]

Repayment doesn't mean you should be getting your hands scarred.

[Joyd likes him. Lavi's like is like that...of...well, how any Lavi might like their Kanda at home. There's more of a want to annoy than anything else.]

[Lifts his own hand, the scarred one, and opens his palm enough that it should be visible.]

You aren't supposed to get scars like this for random people.

[Looks at it, thinking it strange that Allen has Innocence scars anyway, he's different.]

How did you get yours?

By dragging someone important away from a situation that would've gotten him killed.

[Lavi nods a little and looks down at his own hands, even being in gloves he knows where each of those burns are on the palms of his hands, on his fingers.]

I couldn't leave him there.

[...He shakes his head, before turning away from the Cafeteria and heading down the hall.]

Come on. There's a kitchen this way.
