[It's a silent, peaceful summer night here in the Dressing Room. You're tucked, safe and sound, into your bed (or couch, chair, floor, pool of vomit, rafter, stranger's front yard, etc., depending on your preferences and life choices.) Or perhaps you're not usually asleep at this hour, or you don't actually ever sleep at all - you still felt

[Well for a second or two anyway]
[Then Allen's arms are wrapping around him, holding him in place and sending a new wave of panic and fear though him. Ohgod, he can't move. Why can't he move? And where's Allen going? ...!! The panic is probably going off the charts now when he feels Allen's lips searching around his his neck. A cold seeping panic. There was a reason he always wore the scarf, even slept with it sometimes. It gave him a false sense of protection, that people couldn't touch his neck, hurt him there. Old, painful memories. It took a lot of trust for him to welcome people touching his neck, and a starving vampire who was currently overpowering him did not fall in that category]
Allen! [Flailing and trying to grip at Allen's hair and pull him away from feeding, though that's not really possible with his arms pinned to his sides like they are. But damn, he would if he could, giant gouge in his neck be damned!] Not here... Another- [Gritting his teeth] Somewhere else! Please...
[There was only one person who he'd let drink blood from his neck, and unfortunately, it's not this Allen]

Oh, he's not going far. But that's something that Allen doesn't even know normally, you sure he's one of those close friends? So many things that he doesn't know about Lavi when the other has him pretty much figured out as if he were transparent most of the time. And honestly he only gets a few mouthfuls before the blood pings something familiar in the recesses of his memory. Lavi's voice faltering and begging, the fear and panic.
Allen pulls his teeth from Lavi's neck and quickly closes the wounds up. And like that he's gone from Lavi's side, back in that corner and his arms wrapped over his own head as he peers at Lavi from behind his raised knees. He's still hungry but he won't feed more, not even if Lavi threatens him.
There's a quiet whimper, tears slipping down his cheeks silently.]
La-Lavi. I'm sorry. I-I'm... I'm so sorry. P-please just go. Leave.

[There's no way he would leave Allen like this. And yes, Lavi is certain that Allen is one of his close friends. He treasures him in his heart as someone who's never hurt him, let him down, and someone that he tries to check on regularly. As for not knowing a lot about Lavi, that is Lavi's fault. For being such a busybody with other people's lives, he rarely lets anyway inside to get a glimpse of him. There is so much even his twin doesn't know about him]
[Lavi crouches in front of Allen before leaning forward and trying to wrap his arms around Allen's shoulders. He tries to make his movements both slow and calm on the inside and out. He doesn't want Allen to disappear to somewhere in the room that he can't reach]
Allen. You have nothing to apologize for. It's fine, yeah. Everything's okay. So don't push me away.

Trying to keep it all a secret so when they go it's just all of them in you and none of you in them? A safeguard?]
It's not fine! Don't lie! I hurt you! Ju-just go! Please! I don't want to see them hurt you! [The guards, the ones that so easily overpower him when they come in force, pinning him down and binding him again. Shoving him in sunlight because they think it's funny he's so weak and sleepy, he can't fight them.
But it seems like Lavi's blood has woken another memory of Allen's. A memory just waiting for the moment when the vampire's guard is back down before it will swarm up.]

[But ah, if someone were to explain it to Lavi in those terms, he'd probably be more willing to open up to people. His reason for being closed as a clam is rather paranoid and simple. He's afraid of opening up to someone, revealing all his deep dark secrets and then getting a 'hn' in response. So he piecemeals it slowly out to his closest friends, waiting and watching for their reactions before daring to offer a little more. Like a breadcrumb trail really]
You scared me, yes. But you stopped. You didn't press it. [Reaches out to gently stroke Allen's hair. The little vamp is so weak and so tired. And those scars send a shiver down Lavi's spine. Danger to himself or not, there was no way Lavi could abandon him in this state] And I can't leave you behind. If I go, I'm taking you with me.

If it ever comes up in their next conversation, Allen not knowing anything about him, it will be brought up: "You know so much about me, it's not fair. At least tell me something, Lavi!" coupled with an irresistible Allen!pout. He would never 'hn' at Lavi, not even when he might happen to be ignoring or pushing the redhead away.
Whimpers.] Only because I remembered. [If he hadn't...Lavi certainly would only be able to sit against that door at the moment. He grips at Lavi's clothes, wanting him to stay but:] I can't. It's not safe out there. They know. They know what I am. [Hair stroking gets him to relax for a moment into him and Neah gathers himself inside Allen's head, the vampire's shadow on the wall growing darker if that was possible as he starts to impress himself on the other's personality.]

[Allen pouts are pretty irresistible. Lavi seems to melt at the twins' anyway. And he doesn't doubt that Allen would listen and care. But the poor bb vamp has so much on his plate too deal with. And Lavi has some potentially dark secrets he likes to keep out of the light. He tends to err on the side of caution when it comes to himself]
And I know who you are, too. Allen, my good friend, who helped me explore the Dressing Room, yeah. Who gave me pages full of wonderful adventures that I get to keep with me forever. I don't care about the guards and what they think they can do. I'll find a way to protect you.
[Watching the shadow, but the place is rather dark. Maybe his eye is just playing tricks on him. He'll just ignore it for now, concentrating on calming Allen down and how the hell is he supposed to get to his Innocence. That would be very useful]

He has hardly anything on his plate aside from handling the fallen angel being gone, this dream, and soon his brother being gone yet again but for good. His anchors keep getting yanked out and he'll soon be adrift in a way that the older vampire that he met once (Rhode) said she would kill him if he ever got that way. They might come out through his blood if he doesn't watch it. They can choose to get the memories or not.
A choked sob escapes him, relief mixed with denial. You need to leave, he can feel something dangerous coming and all at once Allen jerks away from Lavi. Up and out of his arms to a far corner where the moonlight illuminates every thing, and he's screaming with his hands clutching at his hair. And a vampire screaming in pain when it takes so much for them to feel pain is never a good thing.]

[And no matter how many of Allenpire's anchors get yanked out, Lavi will try to grab him and pull his exploring buddy back down to earth. He's found a friend for life in Lavi, and Lavi's too stupid to know when to let go]
[Lavi makes another grab for Allen, but he's gets nothing but a fistful of air] Allen, don't push me away. I want to-- The scream chills his blood colder than anything else the vampire has felt from Lavi today. He scrambles to his feet in an instant, trying to make it to Allen. Places his hands over his in an effort to calm him. Damn it, what was causing that? And how the hell was he supposed to get it to stop]
Allen!

Friends are nice but he needs something stronger to keep him down. Someone who can give more to him than most friends are willing to. But at this rate it seems like it be someone mortal that he'll lose or have to force himself to turn.
He's not pushing Lavi away. Not from this. But from the pain. Allen jerks away again, veins on his hands and face standing out as the blood in them churns. The air suddenly filled with the scent of it as blood starts to pour down his forehead and Allen staggers, still screaming. Funny how it seems so endless when he's not taking a breath of air for it. And suddenly the screams cut off. Allen stills.]

[Oh shi-! Allen was already starving. He did not need to be losing blood on top of that. Lavi pulls his scarf off and presses it against Allen's forehead, trying to stop blood. He grits his teeth at the sound of endless screaming. Damn, that was making the hair on the back of his neck stand on end]
[And then as suddenly as it began, the screaming stops. Lavi still has the scarf pressed up against Allen's face, so he'll lean over to nose a little at Allen's cheek]
Allen...?

It doesn't look fresh, even in the moonlight this red is darkened and the smell sort of musty as if it's been sitting for so long. If Lavi peeks behind the scarf to see if the blood has stopped he'll see very familiar marks now permanently carved in his friend's forehead.
Twitch.
And Allen's not there again. A few feet away in the middle of the moonlight being cast into the room. Briefly where he was standing Lavi might catch the scent of raspberries. His head is bowed but as the silver locks lift the gold eyes there are sharper now, pupils cat-like if one looked close enough, the color brighter.]
I'm afraid that Allen's asleep at the moment, if you'd like I can certainly take a message. Though~ I'm also afraid I'm not sure when he'll awaken again... [Trailing off thoughtfully Neah takes the time to shuck off the remainder of the straight jacket, exposing more of the ashen gray skin.]

Allen has one of you, too...
[And the word is practically spat out. Damn Noahs living inside of Allen's head. Couldn't one of them ever get a break]

[Oh, but Neah came to him in a completely different way~ Neah came to him in person, asked him to take those memories, then disappeared.]
'Lavi' was it? I appreciate your concern over my dear little host, he really is a charming young man, isn't he? It's almost a shame that I'll have to obliterate him in a few years.

You will do no such thing.
I don't give a fuck about how special you think you are. [Hissing practically every syllable] I know all about your kind, Fourteenth. And if you even so much as show your face while Allen is in the Dressing Room, I'll be right there to make your life a living hell.

You can't stop me~ I'm already in this boy's head there and at home~ It's only a matter of time~
[Pulling Lavi's hands off of him and dropping them as if touching the Exorcist had germs.]
And the name is Neah~
