[Allen's sitting outside in one of the fall courtyards, a few leaves in his hair. He's been out here for quite a while, long enough to have the fire in the firepit that he started to have crumbled down to glowing embers

[Deke's quietly making his way over to Allen, having left Robin with the stork for the night.]

[He was going to go say hi to you and Robin earlier, but it was out in the sunshine. x:

Allen doesn't even glance at him, though he knows Deke is there.]

[Could've just always made it night? Deke was planning to spend the whole day there.

Well, in that case, hope you don't mind if he takes a seat next to you.]

[Still thinking of throwing Chase at him instead.

As soon as he does Allen's head will come to rest on his shoulder.]

Reaches up to brush the leaves out of his hair, still not saying anything yet.]

[They did meet once (or twice) before!

Allen closes his eyes at the contact, just keeping his head still.]

[They have, back when Deke still knew him when he was going by Lavi.]

You alright, Allen?

[bloodyscore]

I just miss Lavi. [Turning and hiding his face in Deke's shoulder.] I miss him more than I should.

[Deke sighs quietly, wrapping an arm around his shoulders comfortingly.] There's nothing wrong with missing him.

[bloodyscore]

I bet he doesn't even miss me. [Gripping Deke's shirt.]

And I bet you he does.

He won't even remember me in his home, Deke.

That doesn't change anything, Allen. [But it does, and he knows it. He closes his eyes before looking up at the sky.]

[Wants to say 'yes, it does' but he also bites his tongue and just hides his face in Deke's shoulder again.]

[Keeps his arm around Allen's shoulders. Wants to comfort him more, but was never good in that department.]

[He's had enough comfort with it, to be honest. He just wants someone there for him. His twin and Bikevi have been around so often that he needed to get away and sulk again.]
