[Allen's sitting outside in one of the fall courtyards, a few leaves in his hair. He's been out here for quite a while, long enough to have the fire in the firepit that he started to have crumbled down to glowing embers

It's Allen. [Softly, as if he doesn't care.]

Just missing someone is all. Someone I shouldn't, but I do.

I don't even know if it was love or just wanting to defy my brother.

Were they important to you?

Very important.

Then it shouldn't matter.

It does because he's not here anymore.

It sucks that he's gone, yes, but it doesn't suddenly mean you were with him to defy any rules.
