[ well that was sure something to see. Eyeing her warily ] Ah... are you all right?

[Her expression conflicts between a surprised but happy one at being suddenly herself and an Oh no, he saw! She scratches the back of her head awkwardly, and gives a small laugh.]

I'm, ah, fine...Did you see that?

[ offers a rueful smile ] I did, but if it makes you feel any better, I really have no idea what just happened.

The tea had an...unintended side effect. But it's okay! [She smiles, a little nervous.] Allen, if you wouldn't mind, it'd be best if you didn't tell anyone what you just saw.

[She thinks he's Allen, of course, since her now-human senses aren't telling her anything extra.]

[ that's just how he likes it~ He smiles and nods. ] I can do that. Don't worry, your secret - whatever it is - is safe with me, I won't tell a soul.

[She takes a few steps towards him, a little clumsily given that her shoes don't fit at the moment, let alone her other clothes.]

My name's Julia. And you're Allen, aren't you? Allen Walker?

[ holds out his right hand to shake, still smiling ] That's right. It's good to meet you, Julia. [ glances down at her shoes ] Ah... would you like some help finding something that... fits a little better?

It's nice to meet you, too. [She holds out her hand in response, and gives his a friendly shake.] I do need new things, don't I? I, ah, don't want to trouble you...but I could use some help.

It's no trouble. I actually know of a place nearby that has a lot of different clothes. [ offers his arm to help her balance in the too-big shoes ] Shall we?

[She smiles, and takes his arm after a moment's hesitation. Being treated like a lady is a slight surprise.]

Yes, let's. Um...have you been in the Dressing Room for long, Allen?

Well, I was here for a while before, but then I went back to my own world and I've just gotten back. What about you?

[stitched_akuma]

[She considers lying for a moment, then discards the idea and nods.] Me? I haven't been home at all. It's been about...two and half years. A little longer than that. It's not too bad here, so I don't mind it as much as I used to.

[ he nods ] It could be worse, that's for sure. It's good you're not unhappy here, at least.

[It's so nice to be able to talk to an Allen like this one without his eye activating and hurting him. Or so she thinks.]

Mm, it is. What about you - do you like it here?

[ he aims to please~ and later, to stab in the back! ]

It's all right, actually. The first time I was here I didn't like it much... but I like it better this time. I've already made some friends, even if I feel guilty about not being able to be at home and helping in the war.

[She is blissfully unaware of potential future backstabbing!]

The war...it'll still be there when you get back home. It might feel bad, but your time here isn't likely to affect anything. So it's okay to enjoy being with friends here. At least, that's what I think.
