[Yes! It's soba. And Alma is watching curiously from behind the stack of presents, peering around the side. Is Kanda going to approach the soba?]

[She stealthily flits behind a closer pile of presents, lucky that some of them are so tall. And she smiles happily to herself: Yuu looks so adorable when he's being reluctant!]

[He would argue that. But he's picking up one of the trays, knocking the candles off haphazardly and grabs a pair of chopsticks, getting ready to eat.]

[After stalking watching for a moment more, she pops out from behind the pile of presents, walking up to him.]

[Startles nearly dropping his soba. Turns around to face her.]

Lavi did - the one I'm friends with. And, he asked me to give you his present for you. I've got one for you, too!

[She holds out two packages that she'd been hiding behind her back. Lavi's one is smaller, and her one is larger, wrapped in green paper, and is fairly obviously the shape of a book.]

You're friends with a Lavi? [Why didn't he know this.

But he takes the presents, starting to open Lavi's first.]

[She nods, looking curiously to see how similar the present for him is to the one Lavi already gave her.] Yes, for a while now. I guess I didn't mention it before? We've been exchanging romance novels and watching films. It's fun.

Romance novels. [Right. Stops when he sees the first present, peering a little closer at the picture.

Taps it once.] Where did he get this?

...Maybe he brought a camera to the ball? [She smiles, glancing at the photo again.] He gave me a photo and frame as well, so now we've both got one, Yuu. A matching set.
