Miranda glanced around nervously. This wasn't the Black Order. This wasn't her room. Her friends, whom she'd just been speaking to, weren't beside her anymore. She could feel the inklings of panic swelling up in her chest and she tried to cut them off. She was fine. She was fine, this was no big deal, these things happened.
Except...
Except they didn't just happen. This shouldn't be happening. She had no idea where she was, she was all alone, and she had no idea how to get back. Panic rose again as another thought struck her. What if she couldn't get back? What would she do if she was stuck here?
Trying to fight off the tears before the sobbing started, Miranda quickly made her way to the door and cautiously opened it. She stepped out into the hall, searching for a friendly face. Surely someone, somewhere in this place could help her.
