[When Kanda finally wakes from Dressing Room limbo, he's back in a sitting room he had been digging around in prior. He comes to slowly before jolting to awareness, checking himself over as well as he can. No claws, no marks, no irregular joints. He was human again.

Sighs and slumps slightly in relief. He takes a moment to gather himself before

[Hanging around a lesser traveled hall, Alma's looking haggard and worse for the wear.

He's just wandering for now, a mayo sandwich of some kind in his hand as he only vaguely pays attention to his surroundings.]

[regeneratory]

[Stops when he notices him, before picking up his pace to get over.] Alma!

[notakumamommy]

[Startling and staring blankly at Kanda for a few long moments.] --Yuu?

[regeneratory]

Alma. [Getting up to him and looking him over.] Are you all right?

[notakumamommy]

[Doing the same to Kanda, pretty much.

Alma's pretty much healed up by now, although he still looks rather worn around the edges.]

I'm fine. [Waves off the question quickly.] Are you--? [Reaches forward, then falters, the memory of Kanda's blood on his hands flooding his senses for a half-second.]

[regeneratory]

[Watches him do that, hesitating himself before reaching to run a hand through Alma's hair once for comfort.] I'm all right.

[Leaning just a bit into the touch before it's gone.

Swallowing thickly, he looks at the ground, then back at Kanda.] You're sure?

[regeneratory]

I'm sure. [A pause as he watches him.] ... I'm sorry you had to do that, though.

[notakumamommy]

[Vaguely recalls his sandwich and stares at it for a moment, mostly to avoid looking at Kanda again.] It's fine.

As long as you're okay.

[regeneratory]

[... Right. This is suddenly awkward. And Kanda's sure it's not really fine at all for Alma but he doesn't really know how to go about fixing that.]

Did anything else happen while I was gone?

[notakumamommy]

[Alma tilts his sandwich like he's going to bite in, but doesn't and just keeps fiddling with it instead of looking at Kanda.

It's easier to close off and repress those feelings and memories.]

Other people were Akuma as well... Not much else has happened. [Not that he paid attention to anyway. ... And no, he doesn't want to talk about the other Akuma he ran into either.]

[regeneratory]

... Hn. [For now at least, he'll take Alma's word for it (that nothing happened to him, anyway. He saw how many people were changed, and he still had to check on the other Alma and Lenalee.]

I need to go find Mugen. [And there's a silent invitation to come in his tone if Alma can pick up on it (or even wants it).]

Do you know where it is? [Taking the opportunity to talk about anything other than their first topic.]

[regeneratory]

The room I was kidnapped from, assuming it hasn't been moved. [Starts walking in a random direction in hopes of getting there. What hallway are they even down.]

Do you remember where that was? [Hops to catch up with Kanda's sudden walking, then falls into step beside him. Alma's not sure. He was content with getting lost before.]

... Somewhere in the neutral wings. [You know, this could really be a problem.]
