[Sometimes when the dressing room pulls it's new citizens to it, they kick opens doors. Or arrive in the middle of a fight. Or perhaps if they're the type to make a statement, a ceiling is crashed down through. All of these methods are fine and good, but Tyki has his own way of doing things

...[Well, not quite the reaction expected. But he'll roll with it, bowing a little.] You have my thanks, I thought I was getting out of practice.

You, out of practice? [Smiles] Perish the thought. If you aren't at your very best now, every other performer is unimaginably outclassed. But one hint, if I may! Make sure the audience can't see the flask.

You're too free with your compliments, good sir. I scarcely deserve them. But my, I do enjoy them none the less. [Grins.] I'll have to work harder to behave myself during the acts. [Tucks the flask away.]

[He wanders closer, turning his head this way and that to look for the source of the angelic light before.]

Hmm...Have you been doing the same act for long? As a rehearsal, that was perfect.

It's been my main act for years. I suppose I could put a twist or two on it, though. Change things up a little. [The angelic light won't come back just yet, sorry.]

Of course, everyone has to keep their act fresh! [He chuckles, tilting his head a little and glancing at Tyki's wings.] Those feathers look very fresh. Almost real.

True enough. Crowds will tired of an act if they see it too often, no matter how clever it might be. [Oh, this is fun.] You think? I thought that they were too shiny, maybe I should dirty them a little for effect. But the girls like them shimmering, so I suppose it's worth losing a little realism.

[faire_le_pitre]

If I had beautiful wings like that on my costume, no-one would like it. I'd need to have a face to match, and hmm, mine just can't compare to shimmers. It's a good thing I'm a clown.

[Without warning, he does a backflip, tumbling into the air and landing gracefully.]

And wouldn't wings rather get tangled up? Such a restriction to movement. Oh, it just wouldn't work.

I can't say that mine matches all that well either. Wings like this suit a lady more, I suppose. They need a soft little face to go with them.

[He claps, honestly admiring his movements. There's something about people who are talented in that sense that always impresses him.]

No, it wouldn't work at all. They'd certainly ruin those fine landings, and we can't have that at all. You'd go from cat like to a mass of flailing feathers.

[faire_le_pitre]

It would spoil the act. Mm, but it could be funny. [He gives a laugh, and walks a little closer.] Would you mind telling me your name...?

And there's nothing wrong with a bit of comedy. Children especially love it. [He does a little bow, nothing too grand.] Father Mikk, at your service.

[Returns the bow, albeit in a clownish manner] Mana Walker, likewise! It may be tough in this place for entertainers, but it's also easy.

Mana Walker? I've heard that name a time or two, not that it matters. And tough and easy? I suppose this is going to be interesting.

One doesn't have to wonder where the next meal is coming from. It's a luxury, isn't it? But the audiences can be tough...and moving on to a new place is an impossibility.

Oh, is that so? I can't deny that an easy meal is appealing. But without an audience, it's hard to be a good showman.
