[It's a little noisier than he generally likes, but all things considered, he probably needs the distraction right around now.

He doesn't pay the actual patrons of the place much mind, ordering himself a black coffee and taking a seat in one of the corners.]

[Lavi lifts his head a bit when he catches sight of Allen. And just kind of stares for a moment and then looks away before Allen notices that he was staring.]

[He doesn't notice at all, really. Too tired right now to care enough to make sure people aren't staring at him. He's just kind of... been wandering, lately. Waiting. Things like that.]

[Looks back and frowning a bit. Then, he gets up and walking over to him.]

Hey, are you ok?

[Having never seen anything like this before...'Tias has actually gone behind the counter, looking everything over like a curious little Bookman would.]

[Looks over at him while one of the workers asks politely that 'Tias goes out.]

Don't think you're supposed to go behind the counter.

[Looks over at him, seeing the laptop and swings his legs over the counter with ease. Moving over on light steps to peer at it from behind and over the top at the keys.]

Couldn't help it, yeah? Little bit more than curious 'bout stuff I haven't seen before.

[He blinks at that.]

Never seen a laptop before? What kind of place do you come from?

[She wanders over to the piano. She stares at intently for a few minutes before her face lights up in a smile.] Now that is entertainment. I wonder how it's doing it? Is it magic or mechanical? [Because in this place, it could be either.]

[Well, that's a new voice. Looks over at her, blinking.] I doubt magic actually exists.

[That causes her to glance his way but you best not repeat those words.] Then you doubt I exist. [She returns her attention to the piano for a moment before turning away. She's bored with it now. And apparently, it's not magic. She walks over to the counter to see what kind of drinks they have. She is getting a bit thristy.] I wonder if there's anything sweet...

[Lavi holds back a snort and goes back to typing.]

[Hey, he might as well enjoy a cafe that's not in his bookstore for once. And it's always more fun to have coffee when it's not made by himself.]

[Doesn't notice him yet. Keeps on typing]

[Comes and sits nearby, with an obscenely sugary and very large coffee concoction.]

Don't you think that's a bit too much?

[COFFEE! coffeecoffeecoffee! Lavi will be helping himself to a cup, waving at the the other Lavi as he sits down]

[Waves back a bit] Enjoying your coffee?

Indeed. Cafes pop up so very few and far between here.

[Scoots over a little to get a look at the laptop. He's never quite figured those out]

That's too bad. It's nice to have some cafes here. [Doesn't mind. He's just typing up his next novel.]
