[Just... watching him, from across the hall. He doesn't normally bother with ghosts, not really, spent so much of his life ignoring the things that he sees, but.. there's no scent of blood in the air. There's no body. And being stuck dead without a place to go back to... that was awful
[Even if he can't see at the moment Lavi knows the feeling of being watched. Yet he can't even pinpoint it as there's not even a single noise giving Allen away.
He sighs and leans back against the couch, letting go of his legs.]
[Watching the people in the general area pass by before he actually responds, waiting to see if they'll linger. When he notices that they don't seem to be, he lets out a sigh.]
What do you mean, it's not-- [But he's actually looking at him now, not that half-paying-attention he had been when more people were around, and he sees the collar.]
Y-you-- How long have you been dead? It's been months since people came back from that...
That city... I was sick for weeks just from breathing in that place. [Rubbing his forehead.] Everyone that came back from that place woke up dead, but that... it was months ago.
[Another laugh, though this one is sad instead of bitter and he leans back against his knees, setting his cheek on top of one.] The whole city was a fanatic's dream. Just like the Rapture from the Bible...
[Shakes his head. He's got a room number on his collar.] I'm one of the subjects.
[He's silent at that though, his gaze falling towards the ground. And he stays that way for a few moments until Allen sighs, and walks across the room to plop down on the couch.]
[Have to over exaggerate some movements if he wants to be heard. But Allen shakes his head, moving to lean back on the couch.]
You don't have to do something to be safe. There are maybe three people here that will be able to see you... Me included. You can rest here until you can get back to your body.
[Most of that means a lot of nothing to Allen, but at the same time, there are parts that make perfect sense. And if he's been buried... that's not a very good sign.]
...I'm sorry. This place doesn't let people move on.
...so he'll continue to watch.]

Staring is rude, whoever you are.

You should go back to your body.

I would if I could find it, yeah? It's not here. It's in that other damned place.
[Collar look familiar, Allen? Those numbers on the front?]

Dunno, last day I remember is Monday, people'd been dying all day the day before. Guess I was just in the next lot.
[...] Came back from what? [Making sure. Just making sure. But there's a haunted tone now.]

We've been elsewhere since then. Rapture. Venice. Some odd place I didn't even get to explore before the damned doctors took me out.
[A pause.] You were one of the visitors?

[frowns.] ...you mean you weren't?

...you're safe here, at least.

Safe? I can't even do anything. I'm lucky I can even touch this couch.

They terminated the project last reset. The ones that died before me...their bodies didn't disappear like normal. I'm pretty damn sure mine didn't.
[Looks down at his feet.] Probably buried me, didn't they? I can smell the dirt, feel it.
