[Hopefully you didn't like that ceiling much, because suddenly breaking through it is a Lenalee. But she's not breaking through it on purpose: she's crashing down, bloody and reeling from a punch. For those who can see it, there are strange dark matter chains wrapped around her, although her Innocence seems to be counteracting its added weight for ( Read more... )

[Oh hells bells, he's ducking out of the way as Lenalee comes crashing down. But the moment he sees the dark matter he's rushing towards her, activating his Innocence and converting his arm into the sword to cut the chains.]

Lenalee! Hold on, I'll get those off of you.

Allen? [She turns her head towards the sound of his voice, completely surprised. Even the Innocence sword cutting through the chains isn't as much of a surprise as Allen suddenly appearing in the middle of the sea...only this isn't the sea, is it? But whatever the situation, she's so, so happy to see him. She stands up unsteadily as the chains fall away.]

You're alive!

[He cuts through the chains and blinks at the statement. When was she from- wait. He smiles gently and reaches out to take her hand once the chains are gone.] Yes, I'm alive. Can you walk? I'll take you to the clinic.

Aa...[She takes his hand in a daze, a few tears at the corner of her eyes.] I'm so glad you're all right. I knew you'd come back, I knew it...

But Allen, there's no time for this! The others are back on the ship, and it's sinking. If the Level 3 making it sink isn't defeated right away, they'll all die!

[So he was right. He deactivates his weapon to take both her hands in his.] Lenalee, listen to me. You're outside of normal time right now, in another place like when Miranda put the town out of normal time. For me those events already happened, we all reunited in Japan.

I just don't know how to get either of us or everyone else out of this place. But we'll find a way.

Then...there's nothing we can do to save them? Not right now? But we'll find a way.We have to. [She takes a deep breath, holding Allen's hands tightly. His two hands, she realises with a jolt.]

This is so confusing, but if you're somehow from later on, then - is everyone going to be safe?

Not right now. We have to believe in them until we can find a way back. [The left one must be strange to see. Allen smiles gently at her jolt and strokes his thumbs over the backs of her hands to soothe her.]

Things will be alright. We're alive and can keep moving forward.

[She nods, slowly, and then smiles. It takes a moment for her to deactivate her Innocence; the physical signs on her from the maximum invocation still remain, but she doesn't seem to be unsteady right now.]

Yes. We'll definitely find a way out of here, and to make sure everyone stays safe. Without a doubt. I have so many things to ask you! You got your arm back, and it...turns into a sword now?

[But they're there and he's worried for her. He doesn't let go of her hands as he starts to draw her in the direction of the clinic.]

I have a lot to explain about this place. It doesn't follow the ways we know and you'll see people from all frames of time and alternate times. Ah, like being in a house of mirrors. You might even meet yourself. The sword form of Crowned clown I got later, it usually turns into a claw like before.

[Only better.]

[Admittedly, she does look like hell, with all the bruises and blood from her fight with Eshi. Not to mention the effects from the Innocence. She glances at Allen in surprise.]

This is more complicated than Miranda's town was. Is Innocence responsible for this, too? It seems unreal.

[That's exactly why he's hurrying a little to get her to the clinic.]

Innocence isn't responsible for this. We still don't know what is the cause but, Innocence would bring Akuma and Noah into the same space as Exorcists. ...at least, [He looks puzzled and uncertain now, like he'd tripped over something.] at least I don't think it would.

So...as of yet, it could be anything. Innocence, or the Earl. Or even something else. [She nods, thinking as she walks along.] There has to be a way of finding out. How large is this place? Miranda's Innocence affected a whole town.

This...isn't the Earl's doing I know that much. He's been pulled here too and I don't think he's too pleased with it.

Even the Earl can't get out? We're...going to have to work hard to manage it, aren't we...? But it'll have to be done.
