Anyone who's curious enough to find out where the splash came from might discover that it's from a snowy courtyard that has a lake that, surprisingly, remains unfrozen.
Atticus is slowly coming out of the lake, gripping his side tightly. Do ignore the blood that's dripping from his fingers as he goes down on his knees, coughing out some water before trying to regain his breath.
He mouths out a few curse words and doesn't seem to notice where he is.
