[ in one of the Fall Courtyards, a Lavi is crouched by a pond. Not just any pond, but one of those fish ponds that Tykis tend to favor so much. He looks like any other Lavi, dressed in street clothes, eyepatch and all.

He seems to be doing nothing but staring into the pond intently, brow slightly furrowed... ]

[ JUMPS and almost goes face first into the pond, but manages to scramble back up the bank ]

Hey, what's the- eh?

I-I'm sorry!

[backalleycat]

[ as if on cue, he sprouts a pair of cat ears when he finally gets a good look at her, although he still seems pretty surprised. ]

[Blinks, momentarily confused. Is he a freak or a product of the DR? She still doesn't know her way around here...

Attempts a smile.] Sir...?

The fish! They look pretty good, yanno?

[Edges towards the pond a little to try and peer inside.] I guess so... I think you appreciate them more than I do.

Maybe. So yer okay with it, huh?

[bottlenosey]

Okay with what? Trying to catch the fish?

[ tugs at his own ears- the cat ears, anyway. ]
