[It's now fall in the courtyard with this familiar gazebo next to a pond. The trees are changing, the air is crisp, and the sun is setting earlier and earlier. It's a perfectly nice day; slightly on the chilly side, but otherwise peaceful and serene

[A Kanda... With a baby? Not only is that unexpected, but it's giving her very sudden, very mixed feelings. But she's approaching nonetheless, curiosity getting the better of her.]

[At first, she thinks this is the Miranda who had accused her of making off with the Old Hare, and so her eyes flash for a moment, accusingly. But, this Miranda looks different. She's not sure how, but she does.]

[She closes her eyes again.]

[Female intuition, probably~ She chances a few steps closer.]

Do you mind if I sit out here, too..? It's nice, but I don't want to bother you, and um- the b-b-baby...

[Likely so. There's a brief pause before she glances at the gazebo bench opposite of her. She tucks her head down for a moment, as if to brush her nose over the top of the newborn's head, and then glances back up.]

Just be quiet.

[ ...it sounds like something (or someone?) is up on the roof of the gazebo...? ]

[Glancing upward, brow furrowed. And definitely tucking the baby closer.]

[Come out, come out, whoever you are.]

[ ...and said someone is poking their head down from the edge of the roof. ]

So there is someone here!

... the hell are you doing on the roof?

[Gliding up behind her to lean against the rail right next to her. Without any greeting, he twirls a finger in a lock of her hair. Maybe he hasn't noticed the little face yet. He's not really looking in her direction anyway.]

[It's only because she was in a light doze that she doesn't react immediately, and when she does she pulls her head away and glances back over her shoulder.]

You have ten seconds to get your paws off.

[Not letting her get away really, but not pursuing her either.]

[Tucks her head down a little, eying him far too closely.]

Sorry to disappoint. [Only, not really.]

[Miranda knows she shouldn't be here. Her presence is probably unwanted... by a few people anyways. While walking to the gazebo she does notice that some one is there, but she can't tell its Kanda from where she stands.]

[Stiffens a little. She's still pretty miffed about the whole Bookman thing. But, she's also too tired to put up too much of a fight.]

[Have a sideways glance.]

[Miranda's had her time to accept it. She's calmed down and phase two happens right now

As soon as she notices who it is she briskly walks over, but also quietly.]

[She looks to the side and holds her hands together.]

I-I'm sorry about before... I really am...

[She'll get over it, for now, there are other things to think about. Relaxes a little, and shifts around under the cloak.]

Pops up silently beside her.]

[She'd reach out to touch his hair or something, but. It's slightly chilly and she doesn't want to open the cloak up too much to let in any cold air. Just tilts her head a little.]
