[Peers over his shoulder] Are you thinking about moving?

[He's quiet for a moment.]

... it's too desolate to move in here.

I dunno, I nice fix-me-up place like this good keep your hands occupied if your mind is wandering.

I'm not moving in here, Lavi.

Then why are you in... [Notices the hourglass] Hey, doesn't that look like...

[Open mouth, insert foot]

He went home?

[crowningdarkly]

[Makes an affirmative sort of sound - not quite a sigh, not quite a hum - and brings a hand up to run his fingers through his hair.]

I think so.

[besomeothername]

When's the last time you saw him?

[crowningdarkly]

[He just shakes his head. Not really sure. It couldn't have been too long ago. Then again, he's been losing chunks of time.]

[besomeothername]

[Takes his hand] Come on. Unless you have a reason to be here.

[He actually jumps a little at the contact, as if brought out of a weird reverie.]

Where?

Does it really matter? [Picks up the hourglass with his free hand and hands it to Allen]

[He actually stiffens when Lavi reaches out for the hourglass, but takes it with his free hand and tucks it closer to himself.]

... as long as there's alcohol. And a substantial lack of pianos, no.

Whiskey, if I recall correctly. I think I can find you a bottle in a piano-free zone.

[Moves to tuck Allen's arm in his and head out of Kanda's room]

[He's hesitant at first, but then slowly starts to follow. Where are we going, Lavi?]

[besomeothername]

[He'll take a slight detour to a kitchen to steal a whiskey bottle or two, but after that it's off to Vampire's Night Courtyard. They'll skit along the edges, settling in the far back. It's a nice quiet place, and Lavi thinks the fireflies are nice to look at, at least]

[Allen's pretty quiet the whole time, at least until they get to the courtyard. It's been... he can't even remember the last time he caught fireflies. He keeps the hourglass tucked close to him, though, and settles into the grass, relaxing slightly.]
