[He walks through the hallways, keeping to the fringes of more populated areas. This isn't a leisurely stroll: it's quick, agitated. He's not in the mood to chat or explore. Out for a stroll, Tyki?
[The Sector cat hisses and she lifts her fist to end its life.]
Or are you on patrol too?

[His butterfly flutters over to Allison, hanging around the spot where the Akuma was like a dog catching a scent.] Been busy, I take it?
Reply
Only thing new is adjusting to Empress Phoenix's new shape. [But her left eye is active, the legs in front of it still detecting Akuma in range.]
Reply
Want any help with the usual work? [He's hoping she says yes, but he'd probably ignore her if she says no.]
Reply
I wouldn't mind some help, it's easier to clean out an Akuma nest with a partner. It's also protocol to not do it alone.
Reply
Good, I've been looking for something to do. Any more nearby?

There's a whole nest back that way, [She jerks her thumb back the way she came.] about four clicks north of where the hall forks.
[She figures he needs to blow off steam before he can talk about what agitated him so badly.]
Reply
[He smiles.] Then what are we waiting for?
[Pretty much true. Killing some Akuma would let him scratch that destructive itch, so he won't try bothering her instead of talking. Not that she's giving him any openings.]

[She turns and starts back the way she came. It probably helps she's used to banter during a mission from various sources. Her and Daisya can get down right mean when they snark (not that they mean a word of it).]

I haven't seen very many Akuma around this place yet. I suppose I've been looking in the wrong spots.
Reply
You've been keeping to upper levels then, down in the lower floors Akuma are as thick as locusts.
Reply
Is that so? I'll keep that in mind. Still, if I've heard right and no one can die here, I wonder where they're coming from.
[His butterflies are darting around again, as though impatient.]
Reply
People can die here, they just come back as they were before. It would still count as a mark in the Akuma's books. It's possible there's portals to other worlds they pour in through but I haven't found any yet.
[They reach a drop off into what seems like nothingness and Allison crouches at the edge, her cursed lens display lit up. She pulls down a pair of high tech goggles to get a better look.]
They're down there, looks like some typical Akuma mixed in with Sector cats and Saber beasts. [They are indeed down there, hard to see from normal human eyes and she tenses as if to leap off the edge.]
Reply
Die for good, I meant, so no one could be made into Akuma. I suppose they'd have to be coming in some other way.
[He gives a low whistle.] A pit of monsters. This place has a flair for the dramatic.
[He'll follow after her, but before he does, he sends a butterfly speeding down there to see how far down it is. Doesn't want to jump down and break a leg.]
Reply
It warrants researching, at the very least.
[What leaps from the ledge isn't human, but is human sized as it flaps wings of flame and tail feathers of plants disappear as the Phoenix descends.]
Reply
... Well, well. That's something new.
[His butterfly is destroyed by something down below, whether intentionally or not, and a thought occurs to him.] Oi, what is a sector cat, or a saber something? [Not that he's worried about that, just curious.]
