[Her eyes follow the butterfly, and she has to resist the urge to reach out and catch hold of it.]

Anxious?

((Muse is trying to avoid killing people/getting killed, but both are fine with me if they happen!))

Why would you think that?

((ooc: Cool, that's fine; there's another death in the works. :3 If it comes to fighting, I'd rather this guy not get killed to avoid tricky time paradoxes.))

Just a hunch~

((Okay! She's trying to behave now so it shouldn't be too hard to avoid X3))

Hn. [That butterfly is restless, very restless. He gives a cool smile.] I hope you never act on hunches alone, in that case.

((ooc: 'Kay, I'll try to keep him from pushing too much, though he'll be snippy. ^^ ))

Oh? Feel like proving me wrong?

((XD Snippy is fun!))

How do you propose I "prove" anything? My mood is my own.

[She shrugs]

Whether you're being honest about it is up for debate, I suppose. Though if you feel like proving it, you could always come drink with me.

[He pauses. He doesn't really want to stop -- can't stop for long -- and though he finally shrugs as well, it's to make putting his hands in his pockets seem more like a normal action and not a way to keep from showing fists.]

[So, he figures a drink can't hurt to try to calm down.] ... Why not? You lead the way.

[She laughs shortly and heads a few halls over, Eastwardly. It's a smallish bar but well-stocked, and from the way she sorts through the bottles she's been here before.]

In the mood for something particular, or will anything do?

Anything. Surprise me, since it looks like you know this spot well enough.

[He's looking around the bar approvingly. Small, yes, but it's what's in it that counts. He still has his butterflies out, but they're out of the way, just perched on a wall.]

[She nods, prepping and then handing him a gin and tonic. She's trying to ignore the butterflies and with a good amount of success, him keeping them out of the way helps a lot.] I've been here a few times, it's a nice bar.

[He gives a nod of thanks.] Not bad, at any rate.

... Oi, how often would you say this place drags people back after sending them home?

[She smiles and sits down with her own drink.]

Fairly often, I'd say, though it varies a bit. I know other people who have been changing between here and home for more than three years, then others that never come back at all.

So it is possible to leave for good. I suppose it's random, then.

It seems like. I've heard stories of people ending up in entirely different worlds, even.

[His butterflies flutter to a different wall, uneasy.]

It can't even keep track of what person goes with what world? Damn it all.
