[normally Allen would leave the kids in the DR to their own devices, but a kid that size holding a baby is usually cause for some degree of concern.

...and, upon inspection, he's quite certain that he knows that baby. so he's just going to step over to them, hovering above the kid and peering down at him.]

...what are you doing with Avari? [and where the hell is her dad?]

[He blinks and looks up at Allen with his pretty multi-colored eyes.]

Avari? Is that her name?

[well now, that's certainly new. Allen has heard of heterochromia - though not so much the technical name as the concept - and he's even seen one or two people with a brown eye and a hazel one.

he has not, however, heard of a case where the two eyes were such vastly different colors.]
