[There's a sweet aroma in the air and some of you might even follow it. It'll lead to a cafeteria which has some cakes on the table, all decorated and everything, followed by some sweets and drinks with some decorations all hung up. There's Deke in the corner of the cafeteria, covered in icing

[Raising an eyebrow at the selection of cakes, then down at the babe asleep in his arms.]

You'd probably be hyper for hours with one bite. [Really though, he wouldn't mind a slice...needs some goading.]

She fusses if she doesn't eat something she sees me eat. One without icing would be better.

Do you think chocolate cake would be okay? [because, yeah, he's searching around now for a cake without icing.]

[Such a weird baby. Already looking.]

Possibly, but she just started eating solids.

...what about cheese cake? Do you think it would be soft enough for her?

[not that he knows if there's any cheesecake out, but it might be worth looking.]

Cheesecake? [Raising an eyebrow. wth is this? He knows pies and normal cakes, but he hasn't heard of that.] Too salty most likely.

[Yes. He's picturing a block of cheddar in some kind of pie-form. Because. What.]

[...he almost laughs. dude. he's a gd hobo, and even Allen knows what cheesecake is. really?]

It's not salty. At least, I don't think so. It's been awhile since I've had it... [but! gesturing for Crowvi to follow him. he's going to search the fridge now, yup.]

[Must he remind you that one he's like back in time and two that he avoids sweets for hyper-reasons?

Eyebrow is still raised as he follows Allen.]

don't mind it too much if he takes his time searching the fridge, since these things never seem to end, and... eventually, he pulls out a cheesecake! )o) ]

[Leaning against the counter and looking down at waking Seren, so he isn't too concerned with how long it's taking Allen to find this weird cake of his.]

[once he finally finds some cheesecake - which, conveniently, is just a slice, so he doesn't have to bother cutting it - Allen sets it on the counter beside Crowvi, casting a curious look Seren's way. she's waking up?]

Cheesecake.

[Glances at it while Seren coos sleepily at Allen. She doesn't get to see many of them. Or does she know Allen from when Aiden had her?]

It looks like some sort of pie.

[don't think so. Aiden has mentioned Seren - so Allen knows about the two of them, Aiden and Chase - but he's never run into the vamp when he had her. regardless though, he sends another, slightly softer smile her way, before looking to Chase.]

It tastes more like a pie, too. I'm not sure why they call it cake.

[She squeals at the smile and tries to reach for him, but the blanket stops her. Allen is probably the only one who knows about them, though Fourteenth has probably guessed by now. Bastard.]

And it tastes like cheese? [Removing the blankets from her upper body, might let Allen hold her.]

[well, it's more a guess on Allen's part too, but... really, Aiden claiming Seren is his, seeing this Lavi with said baby on a regular basis... not that hard to figure out, you know?]

Not really. Not like cheddar, at least. [he's honestly not sure if it would taste like some obscure kind of cheese, though. only had maybe two or three kinds himself, and they were all pretty basic. the squeal makes him blink though, and Seren has his attention again~ h-he'd reach a finger out to her, but he's not sure if daddy will bite his head off for that or not.]
