[Doesn't say a word as she sits down to wait. She's been through this before. damn death watches.]

[It takes a few minutes, but eventually Allen jerks awake, eyes wide, taking rapid, shallow breaths. Both hands fly up to his chest, over his heart- to reassure himself it's there now.]

[In a second he looks over at Allison, but he stays silent.]

Of course. [She lets him recollect himself while she checks her Emp gun and loads a first charger pack into it.]

[After a moment, he looks at what she's doing.] ...What is that?

This is an EMP gun, emp is electro-magnetic pulse. Plays havoc with Akuma, the Order issues it as standard equipment for crowd control and to heighten our survivability an ambush.

Oh. [His head is kind of a mess right now, so that went right over it. He gives her a blank look, before looking around the rest of the kitchen. This place is making his skin crawl, he wants to get away.]

...Why don't we get out of here? I have something I need to talk to you about anyways. [She gets to her feet, sliding the gun back in its holster.]

O-okay... [He nods and slowly gets up. He'll follow her.]

[She doesn't say anything until they're deep in the North Wing.] We're trying to organize all the Exorcists, because of situations just like that. Too many are untrained and others don't know much about fighting Noah. I'm not razzing on you before you think that, I'm offering you a chance to get trained to handle and prevent this from happening again.

[mean_sprout]

[He stiffens and keeps his eyes on the ground, but nods in agreement.] I know. I know. I didn't--

And if we're all trained up, we can do as much as we can to stop that too. Our duty as Exorcists isn't just to be destroyers. Soldiers defend the people they're fighting for as well as destroy enemies.
