[It is night. Laying out in one of the grassy fields Allen stares up at the sky which is full of stars and planets (of course they look like stars as well). Arms behind his head there is a handheld telescope and a book on astronomy beside him.]

Summer is always the best time for star gazing. [A content sigh.]

[Holding her close.] Back in New York it was hard to find a good spot to see the sky like this. Too many lights and sounds to distract you.

...still, I want to go back there with you someday. If they ever let me.

Of course they will. They can't keep you to themselves forever, that just wouldn't be fair.

You'd be surprised. ...I wonder what they'd say if they knew about the baby.

They can say whatever they like, it's really none of their business if we choose to raise a family.
