[just had to set up right in the middle, didn't she? this one was on his way back to his room to crash for a bit, but the sudden Akuma presence has slowed him down significantly due to sudden migraine onslaught. for the moment, though, he's just doing his best to get past her without being noticed too much.

[he... would have probably ignored her if she hadn't used his name. really? really? it seemed everyone in this place knew 'him'.]

[She gets up from her chair and walks over to him.]

[hgkjdhakjga backpedaling just a bit, he throws both arms up, waving his hands slightly in a gesture for her to either stop or not come any closer.]

[She does stop and even steps back.]

[fff that does help a bit, actually. the closer an Akuma is the worse the ache in his head gets, modified or not. though he isn't looking at her so much-- more like past her, above her. he's never actually had to talk to one of these. ...you'll have to excuse his untalkativeness at the moment.]

[She's quite confused as to why he's acting this way. Normally new Allen's want to attack her, but the gesture he made before is making her keep her distance for him.]

Yeah? [he glances over at her, gaze lingering for a few seconds before darting away again, almost a flinch but not quite.] That's... good to know, I guess.

[She looks above her, curiously. Of course she can't see it, but she also knows that it bothers a lot of them.]

[Allen pauses. it... actually sort of makes him feel bad that she's being so nice about this, and the soul, as far as he can tell, is being unusually quiet. usually when he's near them they start screaming or something.]

Sometimes I wonder if its happy I'm not killing people and doing bad things. It does witness everything I do, cho... But it is still suffering because its keeping me alive...
